- Only 62% of children reach high school, and just 45% complete it.
- About 38% of men and 35% of women are uneducated and unemployed.
Guatemala
- Has the fourth-highest rate of chronic malnutrition globally and the highest in Latin America.
- 47% of children under five suffer from chronic malnutrition, rising to 58% for indigenous children.
- 66% of children in the lowest income bracket face stunted growth.
