Unfortunately, after 25 years of progress, poverty is on the rise again

Sub-Saharan Africa has the highest rate of children living in extreme poverty. 41% of the population is living on less than $1.90/day. With over 32 million orphans and 18 million refugees, African children face a massive challenge. Our goal is to help as many children as possible find hope through education, empowerment, and employment. In all we do, we share and model God’s love.

Join us in providing hope, education, healthcare, and economic opportunities for children and youth.

Helping Children Rise Above Poverty

Poverty, at its most extreme form, is destitution. It’s trying to survive without everyday essentials like food, water or shelter. For sub-Saharan Africa, that’s the reality for almost half of the population. Without their most basic needs accounted for, African children cannot begin to imagine a path out of poverty — and the cycle continues. Your gift to Global Action International creates lasting change for children and youth in these communities by providing access to food and medicine, safe housing, as well as crucial health, education, and empowerment programs.
